Background

PSB Boisjoli Inc. formerly H.H. Davis & Assoc. Inc. was founded in 1994 by Herbert H. Davis, Trustee, specializing in corporate restructuring and personal insolvency. Our team of four trustees has wide experience in the field of insolvency. We are available to meet with you on a timely basis to listen to you and offer a solution appropriate to your financial situation.

Paula Brooks, CIRP

Specialty: Corporate recovery services including receiverships, interim receiverships, proposals and bankruptcies. Personal Insolvency including consumer proposals and bankruptcies.

Jerry J. Devletian, CA, CIRP

Specialty: Primarily working in the restructuring of financially troubled companies. This includes consulting, receiverships, proposals, bankruptcies, and interim receiverships mandates.

Patrick Grosjean, CA, CBV, CFA

Specialty: Corporate consulting mandates, and business valuations.

The Trustees

Herbert H. Davis, CIRP, President

Herbert H. Davis is the founder and president of PSB Boisjoli Inc. formerly H.H. Davis & Assoc. Inc. and is a partner in the accounting firm of PSB. Mr. Davis has been practicing in the field of insolvency and corporate recovery for over thirty-five years. Prior to founding his current practice, Mr. Davis was a partner in a Montreal and then in a national firm and has developed an expertise in the realm of commercial reorganization and restructuring. Mr. Davis is a member of a national “think tank” ; The Insolvency Institute of Canada.

Gaetano, DiGuglielmo, CGA, CA,CIRP, Partner

Gaetano Di Guglielmo is a partner in the financial advisory services practice. He has over twenty years of experience in his specialized field, namely the realm of corporate reorganization and restructuring, and has a broad expertise in the liquidation of solvent and insolvent companies, whether under federal or provincial jurisdiction. Mr. Di Guglielmo has advised numerous companies in financial difficulties, secured and unsecured creditors, and other parties with respect to the restructuring process, in his capacity as trustee or consultant in the context of insolvency.

Over the past number of years, Mr. Di Guglielmo has been responsible for numerous restructuring mandates in the capacity as liquidator under the Canada Business and Corporations Act; consultant for revitalizing companies; trustee in bankruptcy; controller in virtue of the CCAA; interim receiver and consultant for lending institutions.

Mr. Di Guglielmo has been a conference speaker and written numerous articles on the restructuring of businesses.

Paula Brooks, CIRP

Paula Brooks has been practicing in the insolvency field for thirty years and obtained her trustee licence in 1986. Ms Brooks joined H.H. Davis & Assoc. Inc. in 1996. Prior to that time, she was a partner in a national firm and then in her own firm. She has been responsible for the administration of both commercial and personal estates; has been an examiner for the written and oral trustee exams; has assisted the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy in their seminars; has given seminars to lenders ;has developed an expertise in the management of 2,500 files acquired from a former trustee who left a firm in 1992; and was in charge of a mandate from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy to complete the administration of certain corporate estates of another trustee.

Jerry J. Devletian, CA, CIRP

Jerry is a Senior Manager in our corporate recovery services and works in the restructuring of financially troubled companies. Jerry has worked in business turnaround, restructuring and insolvency since 1999, and was formerly a senior manager in a national firm. He acts as consultant for companies and financial institutions. His assignments range from business reviews to complex financial restructuring and, if necessary, include formal engagements, such as proposals, receiverships and bankruptcies. Jerry is a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and a licensed Trustee in bankruptcy.

Jerry is a member of the CAIRP Professional Conduct Committee, and frequently participates in the preparation of exams, and a marker for the NIQP.
